About bydigital GST Tools
bydigital.in is a small, focused collection of free GST tools for Indian freelancers, shop owners, traders and small businesses. It is built and maintained by an independent team based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, that has been running small online businesses in India for years — which means we file the same GSTR-3Bs, raise the same invoices and chase the same late-fee questions as our users do. The tools on this site exist because we wanted them for ourselves first.
Why we built this
Most GST software is built for accountants — full accounting suites with logins, subscriptions and a learning curve. But the everyday GST questions of a small business are much simpler: what is 18% on this amount? What's the base price inside this MRP? How much late fee do I owe for a delayed GSTR-3B? Is this vendor's GST number even real? Can I send this customer a clean quotation right now? Each of those deserves an instant answer, not a software installation. That is the gap bydigital.in fills.

Privacy first — by architecture, not by promise
Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser as JavaScript. The amounts you calculate, the invoices and quotations you create, the GSTINs you check — none of it is uploaded, logged or stored on any server, because there is no server-side processing at all. This isn't a privacy policy; it's the architecture. The trade-off is that we cannot recover anything for you, so always save the PDF of any document you generate.
How we keep the tools accurate
Calculation logic (GST add/remove, the CGST/SGST vs IGST split, the GSTIN checksum algorithm, late-fee caps by turnover) is written against the published rules and cross-checked with worked examples before release. When rates, caps or thresholds change by notification, we update the tools. Even so, tax rules have edge cases — so treat every result as a convenience, and confirm anything consequential with the official portal at gst.gov.in or a chartered accountant. bydigital.in is an independent website and is not affiliated with GSTN or the Government of India.
How the site is funded
The site is supported by advertising. Ads keep every tool free and unlimited without accounts, subscriptions or locked features. Advertising never affects calculation results or the content of our guides.
